Deleting your data

Last updated September 22, 2026

What Gable stores from Facebook and Instagram

If you connect a Facebook Page, Gable stores an access token for that Page, the Page name and id, and the id of any Instagram business account linked to it.

For each post you or Gable attaches to one of your listings, it stores the post id and link, when it was published, its caption, its thumbnail, and the figures the platform reports for it, such as reach, impressions, likes and comments. Those figures are what appears in a seller's report.

Gable does not read your messages, your private profile, the people who follow you, or any post you have not attached to a listing.

Removing it yourself

Open Settings in Gable and press Disconnect on the Facebook card. Gable asks Meta to revoke the grant, deletes the stored access token, and stops reading your Page.

To remove the figures already saved against a listing, open that listing, find the Social section, and remove each post. Removing a post deletes its numbers from the seller's report.

You can also remove Gable from the outside, at any time, in Facebook under Settings, then Business integrations. That revokes the grant whether or not you open Gable.

Asking us to delete it

Email hello@getgable.ca from the address on your Gable account and ask for your Facebook and Instagram data to be deleted. We will confirm when it is done, within 30 days and usually sooner.

Say in the message whether you want only the Meta data removed, or the whole Gable account. They are different requests and we will not assume.

Deleting your Gable account entirely

Deleting your account permanently deletes your sign-in, your profile and contact details, your stored files and every connected integration, including this one. It cannot be undone. If your account holds no listings or buyer deals, everything is deleted outright. If it does, those transaction records are not deleted: your brokerage keeps them, no longer linked to you, because Ontario real estate regulation requires it. Settings shows exactly which records that applies to before you confirm.

You can do it in Settings, or email hello@getgable.ca.

What we keep, and why

After a deletion we keep the minimum our own obligations require: billing and tax records, and records of messages already sent on your behalf so we can answer a complaint about them. These hold no Facebook or Instagram data.
