My tasks are empty, or template tasks are missing
A deal with no tasks is almost always finished, on an empty template, or hidden by the Mine view.
Steps
- 1Check the deal's status. A closed, terminated, expired or archived deal keeps its roadmap stages but gets no tasks, so an imported sold listing does not fill your Dashboard with old work. Put it back to a live status and its tasks come back.
- 2On a team, check the Mine and Team switch on Dashboard, Transactions and Tasks. Mine hides tasks given to someone else.
- 3On a listing, open the Roadmap tab and press Sync on the Roadmap card. It adds any template tasks the listing is missing and shows how many it added, or Already up to date.
- 4If the Roadmap card says the template has stages but no tasks yet, press Add tasks to the template, add them in Roadmaps, then come back and press Sync.
- 5Still missing on the Dashboard? Look under No date. Tasks without a due date are listed there, and only the first few show until you press Show all.
Note: a task you add to a template reaches every active listing and buyer on that template by itself. Sync is for catching up a listing after other changes.
If that doesn't work
- Sync is not there: it is on computers only. On a phone, the roadmap shows tasks as they stand.
- A buyer deal has no Sync: add the missing task to the buyer roadmap in Roadmaps and it reaches every active buyer deal, or add a one-off with Create task on Tasks.
- A condo task, such as ordering the status certificate, is missing on a freehold or vacant land deal: that is on purpose. Gable leaves tasks that name a status certificate, a condo or an elevator off deals that are not condos. On a buyer deal, set the Property type with Edit details.
- A task you ticked off is gone: open Completed tasks on Tasks and press Undo.
- You deleted a task on purpose and it came back after a status change: putting a finished deal back to live adds its template tasks again.
- You see an error when you press Sync: refresh the page and try once more, then open Chat with Support with the listing address. Or email support@getgable.ca.
