Why aren't my Gable events showing in Google Calendar?

Most of the time the events are there, in the separate calendar named Gable, and that calendar is hidden or unticked in Google.

Steps

  1. 1In Google Calendar, open the list of your calendars and find the one named Gable. Tick it so its events show. On a phone, open the Google Calendar app's menu and tick Gable there.
  2. 2In Gable, open Settings > Calendars and check the Google Calendar card says Connected as and your address. If it says Not connected, press Connect Google Calendar.
  3. 3Open Settings > All integrations and find the Google Calendar card. Connected with "Last calendar update" means writing works. Needs attention says exactly what failed. Set up, nothing sent yet means nothing has qualified for the calendar so far.
  4. 4Check the deal itself. A closing only goes on once a listing is Conditionally sold or Pending, or a buyer deal is Conditionally accepted or Pending, and it needs a closing date. An Active listing puts only its expiry date on the calendar.

Dates that never go on the calendar

  • Deposit, additional deposit, irrevocable, adjustment and requisition dates. They are tracked in Gable, on the deal and in the Calendar page in the sidebar, but not sent to Google.
  • Dates on deals owned by a teammate. They go to the deal owner's calendar, not yours.

Note: if you deleted the Gable calendar inside Google, Gable cannot write to it any more. Press Disconnect on the Google Calendar card, then Connect Google Calendar again. Gable makes a fresh Gable calendar and the daily check fills in your closings.

If that doesn't work

  • If you got a notification titled "A closing could not be added to your calendar", put that date in your calendar by hand for now and tell us in Chat with Support which deal it was.
  • If the card keeps saying Needs attention after you reconnect, open Chat with Support with the deal's address. Or email support@getgable.ca.
