Can I use ChatGPT or Claude with Gable?

1. 1Open Settings > Other apps and API keys.
2. 2On the Connect Claude or ChatGPT panel, press Copy to copy the Gable address.
3. 3In your assistant, add it as a connector (below), choose OAuth if it asks how to sign in, and leave any client ID and secret fields empty.
4. 4Gable shows a screen asking to connect that app to Gable, with a list of what the app will be able to do. Nothing is shared until you press Allow.

Every tool the assistant gets, with what it changes and whether it asks you first, is listed on Gable in Claude, ChatGPT and other assistants.

1. 1In Claude on the web or the desktop app, open Customize, then Connectors, then Add custom connector.
2. 2Name it Gable and paste the address.
3. 3Click Connect, sign in to Gable and click Allow.

Connectors added this way also appear in the Claude phone app on the same account.

Needs a paid ChatGPT plan and ChatGPT on the web.

1. 1In ChatGPT on the web, turn on Developer mode in Settings.
2. 2Add a new app, name it Gable, paste the address and choose OAuth.
3. 3Sign in to Gable and click Allow. In a new chat, turn on developer mode from the tools menu and pick Gable.

Cursor, VS Code with GitHub Copilot, Gemini CLI, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Perplexity and Grok connect the same way: paste the address, sign in, press Allow. These apps rename their menus often, so look for connectors, tools or MCP in their settings. The Microsoft Copilot app, the Gemini app in Canada, and ChatGPT on the free plan cannot add outside connections yet.

Note: anything that emails a client, gives someone access or deletes a record waits for you to say yes in the assistant first. This is separate from Ask Gable, the assistant built into Gable, which needs no setup.

• Connected apps are listed under Connected apps on the same page. Disconnect takes away access immediately.
• For tools that send a key instead of signing in, create one under API keys with Create key. Copy it when it appears; it is not shown again. Revoke stops it at once.

• The assistant cannot find Gable's sign-in: check you pasted the whole address and chose OAuth.
• A label in the steps does not match your app: the app has renamed it. Look for connectors or MCP in its settings, or open Chat with Support. Or email support@getgable.ca.
