What can Ask Gable do?
Ask Gable answers questions about your own deals and makes two kinds of change, and it never saves anything until you press Confirm.
Steps
- 1On a computer, press Ask Gable in the sidebar. On a phone, tap the round Ask Gable button floating above the tab bar.
- 2Type in Ask, or say what happened, or tap a suggestion such as What is due this week? or Anything closing this month?. On a phone you can also talk to it with the mic.
- 3For a question, read the answer. Mark it Helpful or Not helpful, or press Copy answer.
- 4For a change, Gable shows a card with exactly what it will do. Press Confirm to save it, or Edit to change your words first.
Note: when a change will email your client, for example a booked appointment, the card says so before you confirm.
What it can do
- Answer questions from your listings, buyers, tasks, business figures and setup: what is due, what is next on a street, what is closing this month.
- Book an appointment on a deal: an inspection, appraisal, final walkthrough, signing, key handover or something else, with a date, a time and a place.
- Set or move one of a deal's dates: irrevocable, conditions (requisition), deposit due, additional deposit, adjustment or closing. Say "move the closing on Oak Drive to the 30th".
- Ask you one short question when it is not sure which deal or which date you mean. It never guesses between two deals.
What it cannot do
- Add a listing, a buyer, a condition or a task. Use Transactions and the deal page for those.
- Waive a condition, change a deal's status or send an email of its own.
- Change settings, billing or your team.
- Answer how-to questions about Gable itself. Use Help for those.
If that doesn't work
- Ask Gable will not answer: it needs your permission for drafting and reading, which is set in Settings > Privacy. If you chose Not now, press Allow there.
- It picked the wrong deal: press Edit and add the street name, then try again. Nothing was saved.
- An answer looks wrong: press Not helpful so we can see it, and check the deal page, which is always the source of truth.
