The view numbers don't match, or I see down 100%
Every screen and email reads the listing's views from the same place, so two numbers that look different are usually two different things: a total and a week, or two different dates.
Check which number you are looking at
- Online views on the Metrics card is the total since the listing went live. The small line under it says how fresh it is.
- The weekly emails and the report talk about this week: the views since the last report.
- A total from REALTOR.ca is read once a week, so it can trail what you see in the REALTOR.ca app today.
Views are REALTOR.ca only
Gable counts views on REALTOR.ca and nothing else. A figure from another site, or a board product that adds up several portals, will be higher. That is expected and is not added in.
About down 100% and other arrows
- No arrow shows in a listing's first measured week. There is nothing to compare it with.
- No arrow shows when last week held the first activity since listing and this week was quieter. One showing followed by none is not a fall.
- A real drop, such as three showings last week and none this week, still shows to you as a red percentage. Your seller sees the same figure in a neutral colour, never in red.
If you type the views in
Enter the running total from REALTOR.ca, not the change since last week. Typing a weekly change in the total field makes the next week look like a drop. Fix it by entering the correct total on Weekly numbers.
If that doesn't work
- Make sure the REALTOR.ca report on the listing is for the same MLS number. Gable refuses a report for a different listing and says which listing it belongs to.
- Compare figures with the same date: the line under Online views gives it.
- If one screen still shows a different total from another for the same day, open Chat with Support with the listing address and where you saw each number, or email support@getgable.ca.
