Weekly numbers: what your seller's figures mean

Every figure your seller reads comes from one set of numbers per listing, so the portal, the emails and your own Metrics card always agree. Here is what each one means and where it comes from.

The figures

  • Online views: views of the listing on REALTOR.ca, and nothing else. They come from the listing's REALTOR.ca Listing Statistics report, read once a week, or from the running totals you enter yourself.
  • Showings: the showings on the listing, added by hand or arriving from BrokerBay. Cancelled showings are not counted.
  • Saves and Shares: from the same REALTOR.ca report, or what you enter. They only show once something has measured them.
  • Social views: from your own Facebook and Instagram posts about the home, once your Page is connected and the post is matched to the listing.
  • Days on the market: calendar days since the list date, counted in Eastern time.

How a week is counted

The weekly emails cover the time since the last report your seller got. Totals are since the listing went live. A week that nothing measured shows as not measured, never as zero, so your seller is never told "no views" when nobody was counting.

Enter numbers by hand

Use this for a listing with no REALTOR.ca report connected.

  1. 1Open Weekly numbers. It lists only the listings that need numbers.
  2. 2Under Views to date, enter the total views from REALTOR.ca: the running total, not the change since last week. Gable works out the week from it. Or press Upload the REALTOR.ca report and choose the Listing Insights PDF for the last 7 days.
  3. 3Fill in Saves and Social if you have them. Leave a box blank if you did not read it this week. Blank is not the same as zero.
  4. 4Press Save all.

Showings are not typed as a number. Press Add showing to add one with its date, time, buyer agent and brokerage, and it counts with the rest. Showings you add by hand can be edited or deleted on the listing's Showings card. A showing on the listing twice (same date, start time, buyer agent and brokerage) gets a prompt there to delete the copy, merge the two or keep both. Counts that were typed before Oct 15, 2026 are no longer used.

The week is this week's total less last week's. After a week with no reading, the figure is shown as views over the last 2 weeks. A week with no reading at all leaves the views line out of the reports; they still go out.

This week's reports

Below the form, This week’s reports shows each listing's Monday report, Midweek update and Friday summary as scheduled, Sent or Skipped. Tap one to Send now or Skip this week.

Note: A listing whose REALTOR.ca report is connected does not appear in the form. The page says how many read their report automatically.

If that doesn't work

  • A listing is missing from the form: it already reads its REALTOR.ca report, or it is not a listing that sends reports.
  • The week looks wrong after you saved: check you entered the running total, not the weekly change, and correct it.
  • A number differs between two places: see The view numbers don't match, or I see down 100%.
