Where do I enter conditions, the deposit and the closing date?

On the deal page, conditions go in the Conditions card and the deposit and closing date go in the Transaction details card.

Steps

  1. 1Open the listing or buyer deal. On a listing, these cards appear once it is Conditionally sold, Pending or Closed, on the The deal tab.
  2. 2In Conditions, press Add condition. Choose the Type, add a Label if you like, set the Deadline and press Save. Repeat for each condition.
  3. 3In Transaction details, press Edit. Fill in Closing date, Deposit, Deposit due and any of Additional deposit, Additional deposit due, Irrevocable, Adjustment and Requisition. Press Save.
  4. 4When a condition is met, open its row menu and choose Mark waived.

Gable reminds you three days before each condition deadline and deposit due date, the day before and on the day, in the app and in your morning brief email. On a buyer deal you can also set the closing date with Edit details.

Note: on a phone, open Transactions, open the deal card's menu and choose Dates & appointments. Each date saves on its own there. Conditions themselves are added on the deal page.

If that doesn't work

  • You do not see the cards on a listing: change its status to Conditionally sold or Pending first.
  • There is no Edit on Transaction details: that button is on computers only. Use Dates & appointments on a phone.
  • You see "Deadline is required": every condition needs a deadline.
  • You see "That closing date has already passed.": a deal that has not closed needs a closing date from today on. Check the year. If the deal has closed, set its status to Closed first.
  • For reminders, waivers and what your client sees, read Conditions, deposits and closing dates in depth.
