Why is my listing's daily briefing old, or missing?
Gable writes a fresh briefing for each live listing every day. When one is too old to trust, it hides the text rather than show stale advice, and offers to refresh it.
Steps
- 1Open the listing and find the Daily briefing card.
- 2If it says "This briefing is out of date.", press Refresh it and wait while Gable writes a new one.
- 3If it shows a briefing but you want today's figures, press Refresh.
- 4If it has never had one, press Generate briefing.
Why it goes out of date
- Briefings are written against the numbers of the moment, such as days on market or this week's showings. Advice like "this weekend" is wrong once it is old, so Gable stops showing it.
- The daily run covers live listings. A listing that just went inactive, or a day the run failed, can leave one behind.
Note: briefings need Allow chosen in Settings > Privacy, under Reading documents and drafting text. With it turned off there are no briefings at all.
If that doesn't work
- Refresh it does nothing, or shows an error: check the permission above, then try again in a minute.
- The briefing's numbers disagree with the rest of the page after a refresh: open Chat with Support with the listing address. Or email support@getgable.ca.
