Deal margins

What each deal actually made.

Gable already has the deal, so it can work out what it left you: the commission, less the brokerage split, the desk fee and every receipt you file to it. The listings that did not sell show what they cost.

The number your brokerage statement does not show.

The split and the desk fee, taken off for you.

Each deal’s Costs and margin card walks its commission down: the brokerage split, the desk fee, then what you spent, ending in what the deal left you.

Receipts land on the deal.

Photograph a receipt, or pick several at once, and file it against the listing or buyer it was for. The photo stays with the expense for your accountant.

The ones that did not sell, too.

Photos and staging on a listing that expired are a real cost with nothing earned against it. Gable shows those as well, so the year adds up.

How it works

  1. 1

    Add the commission

The commission, the brokerage split and the desk fee, on the deal.

  2. 2

    File costs as they happen

A photo of the receipt, filed to the deal it was for.

  3. 3

    Read the margin

On every deal, and for the year, on the expenses page.

Questions

Is this an expense tracker?

It is the part an expense app cannot do: what each deal left you, because Gable already holds the deal. Costs not tied to a deal can be filed too.

Can my accountant get the receipts?

Yes. Each receipt photo stays with its expense, and Export for the accountant gives a spreadsheet of the year.

Does my client see any of this?

No. Margins, costs and receipts are yours alone and never appear on a client’s page.
