How do showings and feedback reach my seller?
Showings reach your seller on their own, in the portal and the weekly emails. Feedback does not: each piece stays with you until you choose Show to seller.
Add a showing by hand
- 1Open the listing and go to the Showing activity tab.
- 2In the Showings card, press Add showing.
- 3Fill in Date, and if you have them Time, Buyer agent and Brokerage.
- 4Press Save.
If Gable is a contact on your BrokerBay listing, bookings, cancellations and time changes arrive on their own. Buyer feedback does not: BrokerBay does not send it to Gable, so you add it by hand. The BrokerBay help article explains the setup.
Add feedback
- 1On a past showing, press Feedback.
- 2Type what the buyer's agent said and press Save.
The feedback shows "(hidden from seller)" until you share it.
When there is no feedback
In the same menu:
- Mark feedback requested records that you chased it. Your seller sees that you asked, which shows effort rather than silence.
- Agent declined to give feedback marks it as declined, so it stops counting as awaiting feedback.
What your seller sees
- A Showings tab in their portal once there is a showing, with the shared feedback.
- A summary of the themes buyers keep mentioning, given as counts. Individual comments appear only where you chose Show to seller.
- Showings in the Wednesday and Friday emails and in the full weekly report.
If that doesn't work
- No Show to seller in the menu: the showing has no feedback yet. Press Feedback first.
- A showing your seller should not see: choose Delete showing in its menu.
- BrokerBay showings not arriving: check the Showing notifications panel on the same tab.
