What does my seller see, and can I preview it?
Press Preview as client on the listing. It opens your seller's portal exactly as they see it, with a bar across the top that only you see.
Open the preview
- 1Open the listing.
- 2Press Preview as client. On a phone the round button is called Preview.
- 3The bar at the top reads "Preview: this is what" and your seller's name, then "sees".
- 4Press Exit preview to go back to the listing.
The preview reads the same on a phone, which is where most sellers open it.
What your seller sees
At the top: your name, photo and how to reach you, then their home's photo, address and the week's headline figures. Below that, up to four tabs. A tab only appears when it has something in it.
- Performance: online views, showings and saves, any offers on the table as a count, What’s new in your market, and posts about the home on social.
- Showings: each showing, the feedback you chose to share, and the themes buyers keep mentioning.
- Your market: the comparable homes and the area's figures, when comparables are on for your account.
- What's next: booked appointments, the conditions and key dates once there is an accepted offer, their roadmap and your next step, Shared documents and recent activity.
Your contact card is at the bottom, and on a phone a contact button stays on screen.
What your seller never sees
Your costs and margin, tasks you have not made client-visible, feedback you have not shared, documents you have not shared, and the controls for their own report.
Note: In your preview, links to individual comparable homes do not open. They do for your seller.
See the roadmap wording
To check how your roadmap reads to a seller, open Roadmaps, open a roadmap and press Client view. See Can I hide internal tasks from my seller?.
Want to see a full example first? Open the sample seller portal. Every name and figure in it is made up.
If that doesn't work
- A tab you expected is missing: it has nothing in it yet. For example, Showings appears with the first showing.
- Something looks wrong in the preview: it is what your seller sees, so fix it at the source on the listing, then open the preview again.
