What does Gable read from public REALTOR.ca pages?
Gable reads only the public REALTOR.ca pages of listings you link to or pick. It is not connected to any board's feed.
What it reads
- From your own listing's page, once, when you press Read the page: the street address, city, asking price, bedrooms, bathrooms, property type, the date it was listed and the MLS number the page shows. See Add a listing from a REALTOR.ca link.
- From a comparable listing you pick, where that is switched on for your account: the home's public facts and asking price, and later its page again to keep that price current. See Where do comparable listings come from?.
What Gable does not do
- Read a sold price, or pick a home the page shows as sold or conditional.
- Copy a listing's photos, or read pages you did not link to or pick.
- Keep reading a page after REALTOR.ca asks it to slow down. It waits instead.
Note: what Gable fills in is a starting point. Check every field before you create the listing; the listing is yours, and so is what it says.
When you delete your account
What Gable stored for your account is removed along with your sign-in, apart from the transaction records the brokerage must keep. See Delete my account.
