Lofty is an all-in-one platform for winning and managing leads, with an IDX website, an AI-powered CRM, marketing automation and transaction tools. Gable starts after the client signs: weekly seller reports, seller and buyer portals, transaction tasks and listing posts, with published prices from $99 a month. Many agents could use both, with Lofty for leads and Gable for signed clients.
Gable and Lofty are often mentioned in the same conversation, but they are built around different parts of an agent's business. This comparison goes through the jobs a listing agent does each week and says plainly which tool covers each one, using Lofty's own website for every Lofty detail. If you want a wider field, our Lofty alternatives for listing agents compares five tools.
What is the short answer?
- Choose Lofty if you want lead generation, an IDX website, a CRM and marketing automation from one company.
- Choose Gable if your leads are handled and you want sellers to get a weekly report, buyers to have a portal through closing, and every deal on a task roadmap.
- Use both if you want Lofty's lead side and Gable's client side. They do different jobs.
What is each tool built for?
Lofty describes an all-in-one platform. Its pricing page lists four plans (Agent, Team, Broker and Enterprise) and groups features into marketing and lead generation (IDX website, marketing automation with Smart Plans, listing tools, a social media tool), CRM and communication (AI-powered CRM, unlimited contacts, email, texting, a dialer, calendar and email integrations, a mobile app), AI tools (task prioritization, custom AI agents, lead scoring) and team and broker management (advanced lead routing, team management, reporting). Its platform menu also lists Transaction Management.
Gable is built for the client side after signing. It does not capture or route leads. It handles weekly seller reports, a seller portal, a buyer portal from accepted offer to closing, transaction tasks and deadlines, and listing posts.
How does each handle seller updates?
Gable. Each active listing gets a weekly seller report, the US default. It is built from listing views, showings and feedback, plus a note from you. In the US, views come from ListTrac, with public Zillow and Redfin counts filling in any site ListTrac does not cover. Showings and feedback come in automatically from BrokerBay and ShowingTime, and you can also add showings by hand. You choose which feedback the seller sees. The seller opens the report in their portal from one private link, with no password.
Lofty. We did not find a weekly seller report on the Lofty pages we checked. Its transaction management FAQ describes a client-facing portal where "buyers and sellers can track progress, see what's been completed, and know what's coming next." Its pricing page lists a "Home Report" option and reporting for teams, but does not describe a listing activity report for sellers. Ask Lofty directly if seller reports matter to you.

How does each handle the buyer side?
Gable. From the accepted offer to closing, your buyer gets their own portal showing where the deal stands, the key dates and deadlines, and who is on their team. Each buyer deal also gets its own task roadmap on your side.
Lofty. Lofty's transaction FAQ says its tools run "from accepted offer to closing, including document collection, deadline tracking, task checklists, and milestone notifications," and that the client-facing portal covers buyers and sellers. Lofty's CRM and IDX website also serve buyers earlier, during the search.
Our real estate client portal guide compares client portals across several tools.
How do the transaction tools compare?
Gable. A roadmap of tasks for every listing and buyer deal, your own templates, a daily list of everything due, and deadlines, showings and open houses pushed one way to the agent's own Google Calendar. You can upload signed documents to the deal and share them with your client.
Lofty. Its transaction page describes the product as a way to "Streamline transactions from start to finish with Smart Plans, paperless transaction tools, and our full reporting suite." Its FAQ says it includes e-signature, stores signed documents in the transaction record, and connects to Lofty's CRM so "the deal flows naturally from lead stage through active transaction to close." The page also lists integrations with Dotloop, Brokermint and Skyslope.
If transactions are your main concern, see our transaction management software guide.
How does pricing compare?
Lofty. Every plan on its pricing page says "Request Pricing." No free trial is mentioned.
Gable (US, USD per month). You pay for how many active transactions you carry at once.
| Plan | Price | Active transactions |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | Price: $99 | Active transactions: 5 |
| Growth | Price: $149 | Active transactions: 10 |
| Pro | Price: $179 | Active transactions: 20 |
| Unlimited | Price: $199 | Active transactions: No limit |
One person is included, and each extra person is $35 a month. Annual billing is priced at 11 months. There is a 14-day free trial with no card, and setup is self-serve. Full details are on the Gable pricing page.
Can you use Gable and Lofty together?
Yes. They overlap less than it might seem. A common split:
- Lofty for your website, lead capture, lead routing, CRM follow-up and broad social marketing.
- Gable for every signed client: the weekly seller report, the seller portal, the buyer portal through closing, and the task roadmap for each deal.
The overlap is the transaction side, where both have tools. If you use both, pick one place to run each deal's tasks so your team is not tracking the same dates twice.
What should I check before choosing?
A comparison page can only go so far. Before you decide, run a short checklist against your own business:
- Where do your leads come from today? If Lofty's website and lead programs bring in most of your business, keep that in mind before moving anything. Gable does not replace lead generation.
- How many listings and buyer deals do you carry at once? Gable is priced by active transactions, so this number decides your plan.
- What do your sellers ask you most? If it is "how many people saw it" and "what did they say," a weekly seller report answers that directly.
- What do your buyers ask you most? If it is "what happens next" and "when is the next deadline," a buyer portal with key dates and deadlines answers that.
- Which social networks matter to you? If you post across six networks, Lofty lists more. If you mainly want listing posts on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, Gable's social posting covers those.
Then test with one real listing and one real buyer deal. Send the seller report and the buyer portal link, and see what your clients do with them.
How do Gable and Lofty compare side by side?
Lofty details come from its own website, checked October 28, 2026. "Not listed" means we did not find it on the pages we checked, not that the product can't do it.
