Lofty Alternatives for Listing Agents: 5 Tools Compared

Gable, Follow Up Boss, Beacon, ListedKit and MoxiWorks compared for agents who want something other than, or alongside, Lofty.

By Gable · Updated · Competitor details checked · 9 minute read

The right Lofty alternative depends on which part of Lofty you want to replace. Follow Up Boss is the closest match for CRM and lead follow-up. Gable fits agents who want weekly seller reports, seller and buyer portals and transaction tasks for clients who have already signed, and Beacon and ListedKit each cover one narrower job.

Lofty is an all-in-one platform. Its pricing page lists an IDX website, an AI-powered CRM, Smart Plans marketing automation, a social media marketing tool, lead routing and transaction tools across its Agent, Team, Broker and Enterprise plans. For an agent who wants lead generation, a website and a CRM from one company, that bundle is the point.

Listing agents sometimes go looking for something different. The work that fills a listing agent's week is often not finding the next lead. It is keeping the sellers they already signed informed, running each deal to closing, and doing the same for their buyers once an offer is accepted. This guide compares five tools that a listing agent might look at instead of, or alongside, Lofty, and says plainly what each one is built for. If you are weighing Lofty against Gable directly, our Gable vs Lofty comparison goes into more detail.

What do listing agents need from their software?

Before comparing tools, it helps to name the jobs. Most listing agents want help with some mix of these:

  1. Seller updates. A regular report on views, showings and feedback so the seller is not left guessing between calls.
  2. A place clients can check. Somewhere the seller, and later the buyer, can see where things stand without texting the agent.
  3. Transaction tracking. Tasks, deadlines and key dates from listing or accepted offer through to closing.
  4. Listing marketing. Getting each listing onto social media without rebuilding posts by hand.
  5. Lead follow-up. A CRM that routes and nurtures leads.

Lofty covers a lot of this list, especially lead follow-up and marketing. The alternatives below each cover a different slice. Which one fits depends on which jobs you want a tool to own.

1. What does Gable do for listing agents?

Gable is the tool we build, so we have listed it first. Here is what it does and where it stops.

What it does

  • Weekly seller reports. Each listing gets a weekly report built from listing views, showings and feedback, and a note from you. Showings come in automatically from BrokerBay and ShowingTime, and you can also add showings by hand if you want. In the US, views come from ListTrac, with public Zillow and Redfin counts filling in any site ListTrac does not cover. Our guide to seller report software compares the options in this category.
  • A seller portal. Your seller opens one private link, with no password to set up, and sees their report, their showings, the feedback you choose to share and the latest updates.
  • A buyer portal and roadmap. Gable is not seller-only. From the accepted offer to closing, your buyer gets a portal too, showing where the deal stands, the key dates and deadlines, and who is on their team. More on this in our real estate client portal guide.
  • Transaction management. A roadmap of tasks for every listing and buyer deal, one list of everything due today, and deadlines, showings and open houses pushed one way to the agent's own Google Calendar.
  • Gable's social posting. Gable drafts listing posts for Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn from your own listing photos, ready for you to review and post.

Pricing (US, USD per month). You pay for how many active transactions you carry at once.

StarterPrice: $99Active transactions: 5
GrowthPrice: $149Active transactions: 10
ProPrice: $179Active transactions: 20
UnlimitedPrice: $199Active transactions: No limit

One person is included, and each extra person is $35 a month. Annual billing is priced at 11 months. There is a 14-day free trial with no card, and setup is self-serve. Current prices are on the Gable pricing page.

Where it stops. Gable is not a CRM and not a lead generator. It does not build you an IDX website or run ads. It starts once the client is signed. If lead generation is the main reason you use Lofty, Gable would sit next to a CRM, not replace one.

Best for: listing agents who want their sellers and buyers to see progress every week, and want transactions and listing posts handled in the same place.

2. What is Follow Up Boss best for?

Follow Up Boss is a real estate CRM. Its pricing page lists lead source connections, lead distribution, Smart Lists, follow-up automation, calling, texting and email, calendar and email sync, reporting, a mobile app and AI features. All plans include unlimited contacts, lead sources and integrations, and the comparison table lists deal tracking.

Pricing (from its site, monthly billing):

  • Grow: $69 per user per month. Calling is an add-on at $39 per user.
  • Pro: $499 per month, includes 10 users. Extra users are $49 a month each.
  • Platform: $1,000 per month, includes 30 users. Extra users are $20 a month each.

Yearly billing is lower ($58 per user on Grow). The site mentions a 14-day free trial and no contracts.

How it compares for listing agents. Follow Up Boss is the closest match if what you want from Lofty is the CRM and lead follow-up without the website and ad programs. Its pricing page does not mention seller reports or a client portal, so agents who want those would add another tool. We cover running the two together in Gable vs Follow Up Boss.

Best for: agents and teams whose priority is responding to and nurturing leads.

3. Is Beacon a good choice for seller reports?

Beacon describes its Seller Reports product as "Weekly AI reports with portal views, showings, social and comps." Its plans are tiered by active listings: Standard (5), Plus (10), Pro (15) and Premium (25), with a brand option for teams with more than 25 listings. The site says "Every plan includes every feature and unlimited team members," and offers a free trial of Seller Reports. Dollar prices were not shown on the page we checked.

How it compares for listing agents. Beacon is focused on the seller report itself. Its site does not describe a buyer portal or transaction management, so it fits agents who want reporting and already have other tools for the rest of the deal.

Best for: listing agents who want a dedicated seller report tool.

4. What does ListedKit do?

ListedKit calls itself "AI Transaction Management for Real Estate Teams." Its assistant, Ava, reads purchase agreements ("Any state's purchase agreement, even handwritten"), extracts dates, parties and contingencies, builds the deal timeline, syncs deadlines to your calendar, and drafts update emails for you to review before sending.

Pricing (from its site): ListedKit uses credits rather than a subscription. A credit is $14.99, with lower per-credit prices in bulk down to $11.00 per credit for 50. The site says there is no subscription, no contract and no monthly fee, and the first intake is free with no card. Unlimited team members are included. An add-on, Ava Sign, is $29.99 per user per month.

How it compares for listing agents. ListedKit is aimed at the contract-to-close side of the work, for agents, teams and transaction coordinators. Its site does not mention a client portal or seller reports. Our Gable vs ListedKit piece compares the two pricing models with worked numbers.

Best for: agents and coordinators who want contract intake and deadline tracking automated, and pay per deal.

5. Who is MoxiWorks built for?

MoxiWorks lists a CRM, a presentation platform (listing presentations, open house guides, buyer tours and property reviews), an advertising platform, email marketing, real estate marketing and websites, plus RISE, which it describes as a "Native-AI relationship engine." Its site addresses brokers, agents and teams. Prices are not listed, and the site directs visitors to talk to its team.

How it compares for listing agents. MoxiWorks is broad like Lofty and addresses brokerages as well as agents. Its homepage does not mention a client portal or seller-specific reports.

Best for: agents whose brokerage already provides it, or brokerages choosing one platform for everyone.

How do these Lofty alternatives compare side by side?

How do I choose the right Lofty alternative?

  • You mainly want leads and a website. Lofty, Follow Up Boss or MoxiWorks are built for that. Gable is not.
  • You mainly want sellers to stop asking "any news?" Gable or Beacon. Gable also gives buyers a portal and runs the transaction, Beacon focuses on the report.
  • You mainly want contracts read and deadlines tracked. ListedKit, or Gable if you want the client-facing side in the same place. Our transaction management guide covers this category.
  • You want one place for the client experience after signing. That is the job Gable is built for: seller reports, a seller portal, a buyer portal, transaction tasks and listing posts.

You can also run two tools: a CRM for leads, and something else for clients who have already signed. There is no single right answer, and the best test is to try the workflow on a real listing.

What is the best Lofty alternative for listing agents?

It depends on which part of Lofty you want to replace. For a CRM and lead follow-up, Follow Up Boss is the closest like-for-like. For keeping sellers and buyers informed after signing, with transaction tasks in the same place, Gable is built for that job. We make Gable, so weigh that accordingly.

Does Lofty have a client portal?

Lofty's transaction management page says in its FAQ that its tools include "a client-facing portal where buyers and sellers can track progress." The main page does not describe it in detail, so check with Lofty for specifics.

Is Gable a CRM?

No. Gable does not do lead capture, lead routing or an IDX website. It starts once a client is signed and handles seller reports, client portals, transactions and listing posts. It is designed to sit next to your CRM.

How much does Gable cost in the US?

Plans are $99, $149, $179 and $199 USD a month for 5, 10, 20 or unlimited active transactions. One person is included, and each extra person is $35 a month. Annual billing is priced at 11 months.

Can my buyers use Gable too?
